Med Surg RNRN Johnson City - Johnson City, TNDescriptionAs a Nurse you will:Work with patients in a hospital setting and provide them with an array of servicesApply knowledge and skills in accordance with accepted standards of clinical practice to facilitate problem resolution and achieve individualized patient goals and outcomesMaintain the highest standards of professional conductDeliver care in a manner that protects and preserves the patients dignity, rights, values, beliefs, privacy and autonomy.QualificationsJob RequirementsThis job requires a person who can work independently, yet never forget that continuous care requires a team effort. Additional requirements include:You must have a valid State nursing license or a license from a compact state.At least 2 year of nursing experience in your specialtyAbility to cope with the emotional needs of patients and their familiesAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writingRespecting the patient's privacy and maintaining confidentialityCurrent TN driver's license and automobile liability insuranceBLS, PALS & ACLS Certification (Depending on floor)Current TB skin testYou must be able to satisfy employee screening results (background check, drug testing, motor vehicle report, licensure verification, abuse registry, OIG excluded individuals)2 letters of recommendation, resume & immunization records2 ReferencesPass a routine physical (Depending on accepted facility)
